Our Projects

 The CBA is a private school located in Coxen Hole, Roatan, Honduras. The purpose of the school is to provide a quality bilingual education to children who are affected by AIDS, or who are bright students living in poverty. The children are taught by the highest quality of teachers available and follow a Canadian curriculum in English as well as a Honduran curriculum for Spanish. 

Familias Saludables is a non-profit, non-denominational organization devoted to fighting the AIDS epidemic on Roatán and the Bay Islands.   Education, medicine, support, infant formula and much more is provided to the community in need.

 We provide lists of much needed and wanted items to not only our projects in Roatan, Honduras and Ambergris Caye, Belize but anywhere that you may be travelling!  You tell us your destination, and we can suggest an organization and provide a wish list for you!  Send us a message with your destination! 

Sunflowers and Suitcases want to ensure that the teachers are supported as well as their students.  The teachers give of themselves tirelessly and often for very little pay.  Their role as teacher encompasses far more than we can imagine as they deal daily with students experiencing poverty, abuse, homelessness and so much more.  Having the proper tools as well as self-care helps these teachers continue to do what they do!

Holy Cross Anglican School is located in San Mateo, Ambergris Caye, Belize.   At one time this neighborhood was recognized as one o the most at risk communities in Belize.  The families struggle to meet basic needs.  Money raised provides school supplies and shoes to students.  Fundraising goes to provide scholarships so more children can attend school.
