Today, I’m sharing with you what I eat in a day during the winter!
Of course, this is not what I eat every single day. And yes, I do eat snacks throughout the day but I wanted to focus this blog post on the main courses: breakfast, lunch and dinner! Every day is a little different but I do tend to stay with the same sorts of food.
For breakfast during the winter, I like to have some toast. Usually with all-natural peanut butter. It doesn’t seem like much but this actually keeps me full until 11 AM, which is when I eat a snack like some chocolate, a tangerine or something like that.
For lunch, I like to go for a salad, soup or anything light with a lot of vegetables. Sometimes I add some rice or quinoa as well! This particular day, I had some leftover avocado salad my grandma made for us when we went there for dinner! Also, being the great blogger that I am, I completely forgot to take a picture of my food until about halfway through my meal…
For dinner, I like to have some protein-based foods because they keep me full until the next day! I had some soy spinach with these Linda McCartney’s vegetarian sausages (that are also vegan) and I had it with some ketchup. I try to drink about 2 liters of water per day, so that’s the only thing you’ll catch me drinking throughout the week.
Recently, I’ve gotten back on track with healthy foods and exercising. I try to work out about three times a week and for food, I try to stick with un-processed foods, though of course I’m going to have a McDonalds veggie burger and fries when I’m out with friends. It’s all about balance guys! 😂
Let me know if you’d like to see more of these kinds of posts! Who’s ready for Christmas? 19 days!
