My first week in the US is over. As you’re reading this, my first week of Actor Therapy is about to start. I honestly can’t wait to start this program because I just know I’m going to learn so much! But first, let’s take a look at my week in Chicago and Evanston.
My grandpa and I decided to spend a week in Chicago and Evanston. Evanston is the city where my mom was born and lived for the first 6 years of her life! On our first day in Evanston, we walked around and visited a lot of places like the building where my mom used to live, the school she would go to, the church where my grandparents were married and more!
Of course, we also visited Chicago! The most important thing on my list was The Bean, being the tourist that I am 😉 We also booked a boat tour on the Chicago River and Lake Michigan and had drinks on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Building (best view ever)!
The last two days, we rented a car. We were supposed to get a Ford Focus, but something in our booking went wrong, so they upgraded us to a Jeep, which was pretty cool! Oh and of course, we had some deep dish pizza from Giordano’s.
That’s a little peek of our week in Chicago! I still have two more weeks in NYC, and I’m going to try to see as many broadway shows as I can while I’m here #TheatreNerd! Check back in on Thursday for some pictures of my first week in NYC!
