My Weekend in Pictures #7

May 7, 2018

my weekend in pictures, friendsFind out what I did this weekend! I included Thursday evening because of the Daens reunion. Also, the recap involves friends and a trip to Antwerp!

So as I already mentioned, we had our Daens reunion on Thursday evening. Funny story: Camille and I showed up in the exact same outfit! So of course, we had a bathroom photo session, haha.

On Friday, I went to see a movie at Nele’s but I forgot to take pictures… I know… I’m a great blogger…

my weekend in pictures, familyAm I the only one who makes really weird faces when someone says: “Hold on, I’m going to make a quick photo, keep smiling!”? Because somehow, I always end up making this face… I kind of feel like Chandler in Friends when he has to pose for those wedding pictures with Monica…

Speaking of Friends, I got this shirt at H&M and it’s only €9,99! You can buy it here. I’m trying to sneak more greens into my lunch and my favorite way to do that is by adding spinach to my cheese sandwich. It’s a really good combo!

my weekend in pictures, friends shirt my weekend in pictures, family my weekend in pictures, dogOn Saturday afternoon, we went to go visit my grandparents and because the weather was so great, we brought Indy along and sat outside the entire time. Also, KACEY MUSGRAVES IS COMING TO BELGIUM. For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, Kacey Musgraves is an amazing country artist and she’s coming to Het Depot in Leuven, so my parents and I got tickets!

my weekend in pictures, pizzaOn Saturday night, I wrote a couple of blog posts, edited some pictures and ordered a bruschetta pizza. I also watched the Tina Fey episode from My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman. I love that series so much.

my weekend in pictures, musical theatreOn Sunday, Caroline took me to see The Best of Musicals in Antwerp for my birthday. It was basically a show with every famous musical theatre song and I had a hard time trying not to sing along… Also, do any other theatre geeks out there have that one staple song that always makes you cry? For me, that’s “Do You Hear The People Sing” from Les Misérables. It’s the first song of the show I ever heard and Les Mis was also the first professional musical I ever saw, so that song always makes me cry.

After the show, I went to our first dance rehearsal for Fame. I’m so happy we’re starting dance rehearsals again because I can really use the exercise! I came home all sweaty but I felt great from all the dancing and laughing we did.

Right now, I’m going to finish reading the fourth Harry Potter book and then go to bed. This upcoming week is a short one, since my weekend starts on Thursday, so get ready for an extra long My Weekend in Pictures next Monday!
