Fall is finally here and I couldn’t be more thrilled because this is my FAVORITE season, hands down! Today, I’m sharing some of my favorite things to do during the season!
Try out new recipes
Fall is the best time to try out new recipes! I’ve tried a-out quite a few already, including a healthy Apple Pie Breakfast Bake, an apple pie that turned out so well, and I’m planning on trying out a ton of other recipes. Apple recipes are my favorite to bake during the fall! Here’s a list of my favorite recipes and here’s a list of recipes I’ve tried on my blog!
Make different kinds of hot chocolate
I think my favorite kind of hot chocolate is caramel, salt and milk chocolate, but I also love a good Nutella hot chocolate! Let me know if you’d like a couple of hot chocolate recipes on the blog!
Watch Halloween movies
I made a list of my favorite Halloween movies a couple of years ago and I love to refer to it since I watch these movies every year! I call them “Halloween movies” because I watch them around October, but they’re not scary at all. If you love Tim Burton, though, this list is definitely for you!
Have chill days in
I try to plan all my activities on Saturday so I can have my Sundays spent in all coziness (a.k.a. leaving my bed for breakfast, lunch and dinner only and reading a ton of books). It’s great!
Cleaning out my room and closets
I love to clean out my room and closets at the beginning of a new season. I get rid of everything I haven’t worn or used the past season, so I don’t end up owning stuff I don’t even know about. If you need help with cleaning out your closet, I made a blog post about it a couple of years ago!
Go shopping for fall clothing
Once my closet is cleaned out, it is time to write down what I need for the upcoming season and get my butt to the store! There’s something about brand new sweaters that just makes me so very happy!
Go for walks in the woods
I haven’t actually gone for a walk in the woods yet this fall season, but I plan on doing it soon because I like having the entire outdoors to myself and my dog and just thinking about nothing in particular.
I spent every fall for the last 5 years rehearsing for a musical. This year, we’re rehearsing for Fame. If you haven’t bought your tickets already, you can do so on Wysiwyg Theaterproducties’ website! Tickets are selling out fast so don’t wait too long if you’d like to come! 😉
Carve a pumpkin
Last thing on this list I love to do in fall is carve a pumpkin! My brother and I basically have this tradition where we carve a pumpkin every year and even though we’re both horrible at it, we try to have a competition to see who’s pumpkin turns out the best.
