I spent this past week in Rome with Education First as their 2017 Blogger! Today, I’m sharing with you the first part of my trip to Rome: some of my favorite places I visited.
My favorite square by far: Piazza Venezia! My bus would pass this square every single day and I fell in love with this building the moment I saw it!
The second most beautiful square in Rome: Piazza Navona. This square was only a five-minute walk from our EF school.
Pantheon! Fun fact about this building: it has a giant hole in the middle part of the dome, but when rain falls, the inside of the building won’t get wet because of the constant airstream out through that hole!
Last but not least: Vatican City! One of my friends actually saw the Pope yesterday, how cool is that?
Of course, I visited way more places than just these 5, but these were definitely my favorite! Another post about Rome will be up soon, by the way. That one will be about how I became the 2017 EF Blogger, what EF is all about and what I learned while in Rome with them.
I’m currently packing because I’m leaving for Austria this afternoon. I’m already super excited!
