I know it’s 2017 already, but in today’s blog post I wanted to show you guys what I got for Christmas. The reason why I’m making this blog post is because I love reading these kinds of posts myself. These are gifts that my family got me, but also a few things I bought for myself because why not treat yourself?
My grandparents got me this amazing laundry bag for my trip to Washington, D.C.. The text on it is so accurate, I absolutely love it!
My parents got me two books: The Little Book of Feminism by Harried Dyer and the original screenplay of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K. Rowling. While we were in Amsterdam, we visited a Waterstones and I almost screamed when I saw Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick. I didn’t even think twice about buying it and I can’t wait to read these books!
My brother gave me my favorite presents this year! First of all, he made a book filled with pictures of us two growing up. I love it so, so much and will definitely be taking it with me to D.C.! He also got me an amazing Harry Potter throw. WITH SLEEVES. So, it basically looks like I’m wearing a Hogwarts uniform.
While we were in Amsterdam, I also bought myself two towel head wraps and a new hair brush to take with me to D.C. because I really needed those!
Lastly, my parents got me something of my wish list from 2015: a scratch map! I’m so happy with this scratch map and it immediately gave me a desire to travel again.
As I said in some previous blog posts, I will be vlogging my entire internship experience in Washington, D.C. and that’s why I bought this PopSocket. I didn’t want to spend 500 euros on a vlog camera so decided that I wanted to vlog with my phone. This PopSocket is basically a round piece of plastic that you stick to your phone case and it pops out so you have a better grip.
That’s everything that I got for Christmas this year. I’m so grateful for everything I got so thank you to my amazing family for being so kind and generous!
Q: what did you get for Christmas?
